Today U.S. House Appropriations Chairman Hal Rogers announced the Appropriations subcommittee assignments for the 112th Congress. Congressman Kevin Yoder has been selected to serve on the Commerce, Justice, Science Subcommittee, the Financial Services Subcommittee and the Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Subcommittee. Yoder is one of only three freshmen Representatives chosen to serve on the Appropriations Committee for the 112th Congress.
"I am energized to serve on the Appropriations Committee, which will be the epicenter for effectuating many of the main goals of this new Congress," said Congressman Kevin Yoder. "I am committed to the historic challenge of dramatically reducing the size of our government and getting our economy on a sustainable and responsible path. I am ready to get to work immediately on the tough challenges we are facing."
